For first aid, I dilute this solution for use in a spray bottle, applying it to my dogs daily to keep bacterial infections at bay. It's effective for minor cuts and wounds. For more severe bacterial infections, I use Chlorhexidine, although diluted Betadine works well for maintenance. There isn't much of a scent, but I should note it can stain, so I use dark cloths during application.

Effective for kittens

This was helpful in keeping a found kitten’s face clean. The kitten had a severe viral and bacterial infection in both eyes, ears, and upper respiratory. The vet instructed us to dilute it and apply twice daily, which helped tremendously. It’s a valuable product to have on hand.
